MINISTRY VISION AND MISSION
Children’s Ministry (Ages 0–12)
1. Ministry Overview The Children’s Ministry of Christ Citadel International Church serves infants through twelve‑year‑olds by providing a safe, nurturing, and spiritually enriching environment where children grow in their knowledge of God, develop Christ‑like character, and build a strong foundation of faith. The ministry functions in alignment with the mission and values of Christ Citadel International Church and partners with parents in the spiritual development of their children.
2. Vision Statement To raise a spiritually grounded generation of children who know God personally, embrace their identity in Christ, and demonstrate Christ‑centered character in their homes, schools, and communities. We envision children who are biblically informed, emotionally secure, socially responsible, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to influence their world for Christ.
3. Mission Statement The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to provide structured, age‑appropriate discipleship that supports the holistic development of every child.
This mission is fulfilled through the following commitments:
A. Spiritual Formation
• Present the gospel clearly and age‑appropriately.
• Establish foundational biblical knowledge through systematic teaching and Scripture engagement.
B. Character and Values Development
• Cultivate Christ‑like virtues such as integrity, love, compassion, respect, and responsibility.
• Equip children to make wise, godly decisions.
C. Holistic Growth
• Support spiritual, emotional, social, and cognitive development through interactive learning and positive peer relationships.
• Encourage children to discover and develop their God‑given gifts.
D. Ministry Excellence
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organized environment.
• Ensure all volunteers and staff are trained, screened, and equipped to serve with excellence.
E. Family Partnership
• Collaborate with parents and guardians as primary spiritual influencers.
• Provide communication, resources, and support that strengthen faith formation at home.
F. Inclusivity and Care
• Create a welcoming environment where every child feels valued and accepted.
• Promote unity, Christ centered diversity, and respect within the ministry.
G. Preparation for Lifelong Faith
• Teach spiritual disciplines such as prayer, worship, and Bible study.
• Prepare children for a smooth transition into the youth ministry.
4. Ministry Standards and Expectations.
• All ministry activities shall reflect the values, doctrine, and excellence of Christ Citadel International Church.
• Safety, accountability, and child protection protocols shall be upheld at all times.
• Curriculum, teaching methods, and volunteer practices shall be reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness and alignment with ministry goals.
5. Commitment to Families and the Church Community. The Children’s Ministry is committed to supporting families, strengthening the church community, and raising a generation of children who will grow into mature disciples of Christ and future leaders within the body of Christ and every sphere of society.
